Meet your IBCLC

Hi! I’m Brooke.

I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a registered nurse, and a mom who understands that feeding a baby can be beautiful, messy, emotional, and sometimes all of the above.

As both a mother baby nurse and IBCLC, I have had the privilege of caring for countless new parents during one of life’s biggest transitions. I’ve seen (and experienced) firsthand that while feeding your baby can be incredibly rewarding, it can also come with some unexpected challenges. My goal is to create a calm, judgement free space where you feel heard, encouraged, and prepared with tools and a plan that actually work for your family.

I remember always watching A Baby Story on TLC when I was very young. I have loved babies since I can remember and always dreamed of being a mom. I decided to become a nurse because I love helping people and strive to improve people’s lives. I began my nursing career in Labor and Delivery and gathered a lot of experience in a short time. I have worked in pediatrics and currently work as an RN on a postpartum floor with the newest of mamas and babies.

I love teaching new mothers about their babies and about themselves. I have helped countless moms with the first feedings for their newborns. I was eager to have more education and knowledge in this area so I became a CLC while acquiring my hours to sit for my IBCLC board exam.

In June of 2025, I was given the biggest blessing and became a mother myself. Even though I had this knowledge and experience, we did not have an easy start to our breastfeeding journey. Weight loss, triple feedings, pumping, bottles, oral restrictions, and body work became my life. We quickly overcame these challenges with the support of family, friends and other skilled IBCLCs cheering us along. The days felt long and if it weren’t for me being so stubborn, I understood how easy it would have been to give up on my goals. We stuck with it and I am so proud to say I am still nursing my daughter now and navigating all the things that come along with nursing a toddler.

At Little Nest Lactation, I believe there is no one size fits all approach to infant feeding. Every family deserves personalized support, honest guidance and someone in their corner cheering them on.

When I’m not working with families, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, loving on my dog, boating, enjoying the outdoors, or soaking up the little moments that inspired the name Little Nest Lactation.

I would be honored to be part of your feeding journey and look forward to supporting you and your little one.
